Funded through the Erasmus+ “Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices” action, the EDUPALL project aims to produce a complete programme for undergraduate medical student education in Palliative Care.
EDUPALL is based on the EAPC Recommendations for the development of undergraduate curricula and is led by Associate Professor Dr Daniella Mosoiu.
Objectives of the EDUPALL project:
Produce a model undergraduate Palliative Care curriculum, based on the European Association of Palliative Care recommendations (the curriculum will available in Romanian, English and German – and credited with 3 ECTS points)
Prepare training material in Romanian and English, including an online course
Produce a curriculum for trainers to include: interactive teaching methods; use of technology; mentoring of students; and innovative assessment methods
Prepare trainers to deliver theoretical and practical training
Pilot the curriculum in both Romanian Universities and Irish Universities
Monitor and research impact of the new undergraduate program and publish results in medical literature
