1st Consortium Meeting

Transylvania University Of Brasov organized the first consortium meeting from the 22 – 24 January 2018 in Brasov.

The purpose of the meeting was to:

  • Review the projects objectives
  • Review the responsibilities and tasks of each partner
  • Establish working procedures
  • Agree timelines
  • Provide opportunity for partners to meet and network.
1st Consortium Meeting

The meeting was attended by twenty representatives from project partners and associate partners.

2nd Consortium Meeting

Rheinisch-Westfaelische Technische Hochschule Aachen organized the second consortium meeting from 11– 13 June 2018.

The purpose of the meeting was to:

  • Approve the final format of the curriculum which had been reviewed by experts from several European countries interested in developing palliative care educational programs for undergraduate level
  • Agree on the translation process for the curriculum into Romanian and German
  • Review plans for preparing set of resources for academic staff to support the delivery of the online modules of the curriculum
  • Plan for short-term course for academic staff
  • Plan for next consortium meeting in Dublin, Ireland
  • Review progress of the project and plan next steps.

The meeting was attended by twenty one representatives from project partners and three representatives from associate partners.

Additional Consortium Meeting

An additional consortium meeting was held on the 25 May 2018 in Bern. The meeting considered and agreed on the content of the project website. In addition, the European Association for Palliative Care led a discussion on the plans for the first multiplier event.  The meeting was attended by seven representatives from four of the project partners and one representative from an associate partner.

3rd Consortium Meeting

All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care organized the third consortium meeting from the 7 – 9 November 2018 in Dublin.

The purpose of the meeting was to:

  • Support the preparation of the toolkit for academic staff
  • Support the development of the online training
  • Support the development of the mentoring output
  • Consider the use of technologies materials
  • Plan for multiplier event in Berlin and plan next consortium meeting
  • Review progress of the project and plan next steps.

The meeting was attended by eighteen representatives from project partners and three representatives from associate partners.

4th Consortium Meeting

The 4th Consortium meeting was held in Berlin on the 22 – 23 May 2019.

The purpose of the meeting was to:

  • Review Intermediary Report feedback
  • Finalise  plans for 1st multiplier event
  • Plan for 2nd short-term training
  • Further develop plans for interactive teaching and novel assessment methods in undergraduate training resources
  • Consider quality assurance including curriculum and training materials validation
  • Review progress of the project and plan next steps.

The meeting was attended by twenty one representatives from 7 project partners and four representatives from associate partners.
